Description

You don't want to come between a Giant Tortoise and his (or her) passion fruit. A Giant Tortoise doesn't tend to do anything fast, but, when that beak starts to close, there's a decided inevitability that it is going to complete the journey. This old-timer dealt with passion fruit as though they were raspberries. Giant Tortoise (Geochelone elephantopus), Santa Cruz sub-species.
