THEY STAND AND CHEER
THEY SCREAM AND WEEP
WHEN SHE TAKES A BOW
THEY THROW ROSES AT HER FEET
SHE SMILES
WAVES
BLOWS KISSES
BOXES OF CANDY
IN FRONT OF HER DRESSING ROOM MIRROR
NO ONE SEES THE DEMONS
THAT DANCE IN HER HEAD
AS SHE STARES AT HER REFLECTION
EVERYONE SEES WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE
NO ONE KNOWS WHAT LIES JUST BENEATH
BUT SHE CAN KEEP
THE DEMONS AT BAY
AS LONG AS SHE CAN PLAY
