Description

Long time i didnt do a spaceship render. I decided on the Warbat MK I, which i set up for Poser not to long ago. (It is part of my federal forces packs (.3ds models) which are on sale by the way, hint !!!) Apart from the Barracuda, the Warbat is my favourite Fighter model. Although it must be one of my oldest meshes, its got to be the most "dangerous" looking. I decided not to do any postwork (like usually engineflares and blur) so one can have a closer look. I generated the terrain via displacement mapping, which is a fast and easy way to do it if you dont need to much detail. Actually i wanted to use a Volumetric light, lol, but every time i do that , my computer crashes, must be the strain. So i decided on simple Haze to give the picture depth. all in all 10 min work and a 2 minute render. Enjoy Dj

I agree, it's very dangerous looking! Of course you do the texturing to perfection. I think the 'easy' background shows it off very well! Love it! (:

I agree, this is one of my favorite designs of yours because it just looks so deadly. Great to see another angle of it.

Hate to rain on the parade, because I love the terrain, lighting, pose, and model, but those shadows have got to go! Can't believe you missed that. Grin. That's a stunt more typical of me than you.

Heya DJ... Cool image. I like the shadow. It makes the Warbat look like it is only meters above the ground. :D

great job..except for the shadow...im thinking 10000 feet????...the shodow should be a litle spot on the ground...or maybe no shadow at all...

APPLAUSE AND BIG SMILES TO YOU. Your ships and bug killers have alwaay been my favorites. Gee; on sale is it? so if I had waited for a year or so I coulda saved some money huh? It wasnt that expensive anyway. So what happened to all the freebies you had? Sadly, I lost a hard drive, with all those on it of course, along with a few hundred others. Thanks for your great upload, and a merry christmas to you and yours. :-) Dwayne
