Description
1982, Acrylic on Watercolor paper. This is the original painting I did in 1982, I then recreated it on Carrara 2. Please see the link for the render. It is a parody of the famous New York scene of Brooklyn Bridge.

Both the Carrara work and this paiting are great! In that Carrara picture I like a lot the reflection of the bridge. This one has lovely textures, and that reflection of the city ooks really nice. Wonderful idea, well done!

I find this image to be very cold in it's nature, I'd call it more of a statement than a parody, to me this signifies New Yord as being a lonely cold city, but with alluring light coming from it. But, that's just me :P Anyhow, I like it how the city sort of almost hangs suspended in darkness , it makes the scene amazingly cold and distant. I definently like this painting since it speaks to loudly to me.
