Description

Well it's been awhile, I guess I needed a break, Got so burned out on things. Don't know exactly how to explain, it got to the point where I had no desire to draw, render, post or anything else artistic. Sorry about my lack of comments the past4 months, I know everbody here puts alot into there art, and i was commenting to the extent that it became overwhelming, just trying to keep up. I am going to start commenting on your wonderful art work again. Another thing I am going to do , is not take my art so seriously, I am going to do what comes to me, and stop trying to create the perfect picture, in other words just have fun................John This was done in Vue 6, Poser 6, and painter for touch ups, I rendered it in preveiw mode for a artistic effect.........Hope you enjoy, oh and also..........MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY

Lovely mystical scene. Love the lighting and the natural pose of the horse and rider. Great that you feel like making pictures again as I love to see such great works of art to inspire me to do better. Merry christmas.

Hey John!! Holy cow! It's the Ghost of Christmas past! LOL! I know exactly what you mean about getting burned out and losing that magic vibe! Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do at your comfort level. My time is limited these days and I face the same problem; do I bust my butt for 2 weeks making a scene or do I spend that time commenting? I think people enjoy both, but I'd lean towards seeing the artwork personally. I turned off comments finally, so I won't be wasting your time! LOL! This came out fantastic and I love those volume clouds in V6I! The perspective is majestic and what a splendid and peaceful place to be! You always pour a ton of details in your work and I think that reflects your wonderful personality and your care of what you do. Always be true to yourself, John, and don't feel you have to compromise just to throw out comments. It's great to see you back and this is just so beautiful! No matter what you do, it's gonna be awesome! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, John!

The key word is fun John and I guess there are a lot of people who take their art seriously and it is totally obvious from this magnificent work, that you do also.
