Description

The latest snow storm put 36 inches in the front yard, so I've finally gotten around to messing around with TGD (TG2) :). I managed to crash it 7 times in the first 20 minutes. I'm pretty bummed that renders are limited to just 800x600, but I really like the new interface. It's much more intuitive to me. /******************** A few TG2 tips Don't delete parents of population instances before you delete the population. Actually, don't delete anything. If you have to delete something, save before you do :). Some of the fractal formulas are pretty grumpy during renders, particularly the slower ones. Don't render below terrain level. If your clouds suddenly disappear, SAVE -- and then reassign your atmosphere to another shader and then back to your original shader. If your planets come out with funky blue garbage on them... delete the planet and try again. ********************/ TFV and have a safe and enjoyable holiday :).

Wonderfull! and agree with the UI, when we will know all the meaning of the settings i think there will be a great boost towards landscape realism! I noticed the same problem on delete object and subsequent crash!! Btw i was more lucky than you! only 5 charsh til now :)!
