Description
This picture was taken at Trent Lock near Nottingham. An idyllic boating scene marred by the power station cooling towers ( corrected thanks to comment) in the background.
Makes for an interestingly conflicting image dont you think?

HAHA yes quite an unusual site indeed. the water scene is lovely [bit dark] and than the ominous power supply stacks in the background totally change the mood lol.

I like the picture good contrast between fun and work . BTW they are not smoke stacks they are cooling towers and the only effulent is water vapour. Where would we be without electricity........
