Description

I bet some parts of the DeLorean will succumb to rust, if left to nature thanks for viewing and comments. Happy holidays and may they be safe

Excellent capture. Reminds me of the one I drove in the mid to late '80s. We had a joke about finding a little vial in it......Until we actually did one day. LOL

Only Time will tell! I wonder if I can ever look at this car again without thinking of 'Back To The Future'!

I wondered what he was thinking of in his cell on Terminal Island. supposedly born again. The news papaer articles were different than the ones about Synannon and Sybil Brand. I had already been there. The pull had ceased.

Yup. Metal to rust and Man to dust. This reminds me of 'Back to the Future'. Really cool car, no doubt.

Dear Richard, Weren't they made from stainless steel?? Then they START off rusted!! That's how stainless steel works - it rusts almost instantaneously which seals off the surface from future rusting - and since the chromium is all tangled up in ferrous oxide - the rust layer is so thin that it's smalle than visible light wavelength - so we can't see it!! Same thing with aluminum and it's oxide layer. Anyway - I think they were cool looking cars. It's a pity they didn't do better. Didn't they also have gull wings - or tricky doors??? Super photo and composition with the rusty background!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
