eh I came at morning to see again swan and they took them away ;( buuuu
first time I saw them soooo big and beauty
AH OH I was in heaven at night and not very at morning - they wanted to catch them and the sounds there was so touching and heartbreaking but it is better for them I know
poor sweet birds ;(

A fabulous photo series about those Swans! I'm sure it's better for especially if it gets very cold outside! They will definately not eat them! I saw Swans on a lake nearby our house they could no more move because their feet were kept on the ice of the frozen lake! The yhad to free them with warm water! You see they bring them to a better place! Merry Christmas to you, my Dear!!!

I'm not sure why they are relocating them, but here in Portland they had to do the same thing at a small lake in town. Swans, while beautiful, can be very aggressive toward people. They have extremely powerful wings and can actually break a man's arm with them. This is one way how they defend themselves. In the case in Portland, several children were injured by them, so they relocated the swans to a different area outside of the city. Swans can also drive off other, more desirable waterfowl due to their aggressive nature. Nice shots!
