Description

On a recent trip back to my native Cornwall, I visited Boscastle again, this was the scene of a devastating flash Flood in August 2004.. This is an image of the charming medieval harbour... during some stormy seas, showing how wonderfully protected it is as a safe harbour, unfortunatley, the very elements that make it so unique, were it's undoing during the floods, as water tumbled down the steep slopes towards the little town..However the local people have been determined to rebuild the place, and are well on the way to doing just that.. It showed me one of many reasons I love the place so much with its, dramatic coastline, sheltered valleys and ancient woodland. It is also internationally renowned for its wildlife and geology, and for the variety of footpaths to explore, and some of England's best examples of ancient stitchmeal farming.. So my friends maybe no matter how stormy life can be it is possible to rebuild... I wish you all a very happy Christmas, and wonderful new year..

Such a positive photo with your words, even if it looks so dramatic. Wish you a great Christmas, preferably one with butties in your hair :-) or maybe a little glitter would do.

Cornwall? Then you've probably seen the ruins of Tintagel... lucky you! Best of luck to your 'cymbrogi' rebuilding their community. This scenery is lovely. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
