softly strolling by
gently passing
with a soft gaze
my way
watching
kindly observing
toward my direction
as you moved on by
tensions at first
modulated to
calm repose
as my whole
returned
with a casual nostalgia
taking me
to deep sleep...

Abstract? all art is by definition abstract - the artist always abstracts something from [perceived] reality. The trick is in what's abstracted, and how. I like this ... it's gentle yet not sugary. The penultimate stanza is superb. Mike
