Description

One of the coolest new things they have today are the 'prelit' artificial Christmas trees. This year we bought one, a 6 footer. Imagine all those years we had to wrap the lights up just right when we put them away, but nooOOOoooo, they were still tangled when we got them out to put them on the tree! lol q-: Then there was the, 'not me' attitude on who was going to put all the lights on the tree in the first place, and you know you can't even decorate it until you get them done! In order that you don't trip over them, you get your honey to hold them while you try to get them as evenly as possible on the tree, and he/she has to follow you around and around until the job is done. In the end, after it's all decorated, there's a feeling of 'YEA! We done good!' Another successful 'putting the lights on the tree' Christmas. Enjoy! (: Formula-Standard.ufm, Julia. First layer-Doodads. Second layer-Standard.ucl, Orbit Traps. Thank you so much for coming by to view 'n' comment on 'Christmas Delight!' I loved hearing from you. We went to a cocktail party at my brother's last night. That's the first time I wore heels in about 10 years. Then when we got there, everyone took their shoes off at the front door! ROFLMAO! WHEW! Saved by the rainy weather! I didn't have to stumble around in them all night long. YEA!! q-:

I always have a battle with the tree lights every year so I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone. I try to get the flashing ones evenly distributed but for some reason when you put them on the tree they decide that only half of them will work. This year I out smarted them and got a new strand for $1.98! Great lighting in this image and I'm glad your feet didn't have to survive the night in those shoes! Have a great one!

Oooo Carol! I LOVE the beautiful red baubles with the little sparkles of lights shining through in this one! It's SO Christmassy! And oh boy do I relate on putting those lights on the tree! Somehow that became my job, LOL. And being able to ditch the high heels at the door? Now THAT'S a Christmas gift! Hope yours was Merry!
