Description

I'm still recovering from computer death, but I wanted to post something before the end of the year. Though I'm sure this likely won't be appreciated by many. I've been studying a Japanese concept called Sabi, which means the discovery of beauty in the patina of time and great age. I also love making textures, though this wouldn't work as a texture really. But I made a texture i liked for a wall, and then decided to experiment with it. There are something like 40 layers here, trying to express the concept of Sabi, as well as making something eye pleasing and wanting to include every color in the palette. I like it.
