Description

This title is from a new song by Bob Seger. A door is not really closed when it can still be kicked in or have the lock shot out or the chain removed with an acetylene torch. My friend Russ the old fighter pilot had a trick up his sleeve when I first met him. He just ran off the trail and down the loose slope until he was at teh edge of a cliff. Then he turned around and with maximum effort worked his way with a more powerful and lighter bike up the slope again. My bike burned out it's clutch trying to follow. But I trusted my instinct for water courses. I went down the ravine into the rocky gorge and when I came to a dry waterfall I let the bike slide down it banging and bumping on it's side. It survived and I scrambled after down to where it lay. From there the ravine began to open just a tiny bit and as I rode out onto the desert floor he was riding back to "rescue" me. This is prop is just a skeleton I tried to keep it all Carrara 5. the textures are. I substituted on some old hex nuts I used on the brake I built when I decided to make a Fontana racing brake and a BSA/Triumph one. Norm Reeves could get me to Canada on the old Underground railway if I had to go that way.

Great render! The desert can be frought with adventure.I have ridden it many times, however I now stick to the streets as cellphone using drivers are a far greater diversion. Jay

Dear Dale, I could maybe see me tooling around on a bike in some sort of civilized place but I'd have to precludes both the freeways and the desert!! That sounds like a good place to get yourself killed!! OR at the very least, some place you might be walking back from pushing a motorcycle!!! It'll be interesting to see where you are going with this project bike!!!! Love ya!! Meredith
