Welcome to this sanity revival. . . for those of us who find doing graphic art as a way to restore a crumpled self in a begrudging world. After working on these in the late evening hours the wrongs of the day right themselves, and a sense of sanity returns. Thanks to all of you, artists and viewers alike.BIOA Floridian resident who likes to swamp stomp, photograph just about anything, and who raises orchids, and native plants for fun. A trouble maker in a lot of different areas, this individual is just newly between jobs so will have some time to play on this site.

Interesting pattern and color variations! Cheers

I have found that weather is one of the most beautiful and destructive forces... I almost enjoy the crazy hurricanes we get down here for that reason. Of course the days without power and the muck and downed trees and undrinkable water make me realize it's not worth it.

Oh I was super careful driving, as I had not driven in snow for years. My old West Virginia driving in mud, ice and snow returned to me, as I passed many downed vehicles on the road, tow trucks and highway patrol vehicles working to get people out of ditches. There were some white-knuckle moments as all movement had been down to one lane, passing cars were blinding with the whirling snow they left behind that just got illuminated worse by both headlights. I was blessed with a good set of tires on my rental car, and a good model for such driving. I was driving over bridges that had windshear along with snow drifts across them, hills with iced over slick turns. Though it was already dark as I approached the city, I soon found the situation to be better. When I arrived at my destination, the snow fall had been lighter, and the hotel parking lot was salted and ploughed already.

Beautiful capture !! I have often thought to snap a photo from a plane window , but always thought it would not work. You proved that theory wrong :) !!~Excellent~!!
