My Kubrick obsession has reasserted itself once more. :) This project depicts an astronaut undertaking an EVA above Io, one of the moons of Jupiter, with the spaceship Discovery in the background. The M3 suit is a major kitbash of gtria's Clavius helmet with lots of additional knobs, valves etc. to give it a more direct Kubrick feel, combined with shard armour and a lot of retexturing. The skin texture is gillbrooks & Jepes' Sebastian. The background was created in Celestia, a wonderful, free, open source astronomy program. The Discovery model is a Celestia 3DS retextured in Bryce. The scene was postworked in Photoshop. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
