Description

This is a rework of a previously posted image. I did not care for the lighting in the earlier version, so I tried Image Based Lighting with Ambient Occlusion. Here is the result.

I gotta say, the lighting is spectacular! The IBL and AO are spot on. I'd love to know how long it took to render! Very realistic... I'm curious now to see the previously posted image; don't know if it's still in your gallery, but I'm going to check. Excellent job on this!

Thanks everyone! In answer to a couple of questions: 1) Render time was about 45 minutes (1500x1500 image size, 3G P4 with 1 GB RAM) in Poser 6. 2) I took down the original version here in Renderosity. There were no comments or favorites of it - I guess that says a lot! However, I left the original version on deviantART (http://cosmicship.deviantart.com/). Dave
