Description

Hello All!! I wasn't going to put this one up cause I have so much of Janel up in my gallery, but had it in the forum ( not as postworked hope I didnt overpostwork it ) and was told I should put it in my gallery ... This one goes with a true story ; We were heartbroken. Ringo our new male ragdoll kitty was missing for a week . We thought he was a goner when we talked to the neighbors who told us coyotes got a whole bunch of cats at night recently ( there were missing cat signs everywhere on our street hanging up ). Dinner time came and we heard a faint meowwww ..-got out the albacore tuna ... he soon followed the smell. Tired, real dirty ,and compleatly exausted . Ringo was hungry , thirtsy and REALLY needed a bath ( I let Mike do the bath part lol) ... SO A happy Christmas this year -we got our beautiful ragdoll kitty back although a bit skinnier and humbled a bit now back in our warm home with food and love now I think... ( the nieghbor up the hill told us he was living up under their redwood deck and that their big husky was gaurding him - and probally keeping him from comming back too ...lol) I am thankful this holiday . Janel is the biggest kitty lover of all and she was spontaniously hugging him here after the bath ...( she didn't know I had a cam in hand or didnt pose for this shot here when I took it) Sometimes the best gifts are that of the love you share within your home and heart!. This pic is very special to my heart and thought I would share it with you...Taken with my canon and postworked and softened to add to the mood of it ...it was much sharper but I wanted to equally try and give it the spiritual mood that I feel when I look at it ... Thank you for all your time and comments I am finally not sick anymore and the kids are aways from the computer playing thier new game cube games so I can actually come on here yeaaaa~~ lol Love to you all!! ((( Big Hugs ))) ~ ♥ Kimmers !!! :O)

Had the same experience with our old puss several years ago. Glad Ringo turned up--you don't realise how much animals mean in your life until something happens to them.

That's a really lovely story to go with a really lovely picture. I've had cats stage breakouts before but your story is better than any of mine (hell, one time it turns out Kelly was just hiding in the attic, I think she intended to make a fool out of me). As for the photo itself, it's the perfect example of a less-than-perfect-quality image that deserves a 5 for sheer emotional impact. This is the genuine article here, real love and friendship. Merry Christmas.

I've got tear running down my cheeks, Kimarie. I had the same experience when I was a kid. I know the agony, the fear, the hope that keeps you looking for the missing one. I know the joy, the relief, the love in your heart on the return of Ringo. What a wonderful photograph, what a wonderful Christmas. Have a very happy New Year, all of you.

Kimmers! Well, I'm glad there was a happy ending to the story here as I haven't been as lucky in the past! Lil' Ringo probably used up one of his nine lives on that little adventure, but he's safe at home now. Let's hear it for Starkist tuna! I think that stuff has gotten more cats out of trouble than anything else!! LOL! I wish you a very Happy Holiday season, Kimmers, and perhaps you can put up a tutorial on how to actually give a cat a bath - I'm stumped on that one. LOL! Excellent capture and Happy New year to you!
