My name is Luis Conte, 42 year old, I live in Murcia (Spain)a very sportiv man all my life and now teach Physical Education in the university, I had studied Geography and History and Physical Education. After many years making pictures, but not really knowledge about that, I trying now to learn more seriously that. I love the nature, animals and the Macro world of pictures, very interesting POV. I learn many about the great pics i see in this web and also about the comments of others photographers put in my pics.

I think it is a Hummingbird Hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum). I have never seen one little lone had a chance to capture. impressive capture

i rhink yesitis3 is correct, it is hummingbird hawk-moth, there are some other pics of them in Rendo, but this is a very good one. they are incredibly fast in flight, which i think is because their wings have a rigid leading edge (the front of the wing), and very difficult to photograph.

This is a really good capture. :) You should see me sometimes trying to take a picture of a simple bee...I have yet to get it right!
