Description
The "Guardian of Gallantry" class light cruisers were primarily used as heavy escort vessels in taskforces. These vessels were the most cramped of Humanasol League capital ships with so much of their internal volume devoted to hangar space. They were less successful as exploration vessels than the "Citadel of Courage" class heavy cruisers. Each carried one corvette in addition to 2 gunboats, 42 fighters, 2 large shuttles, 8 small shuttles, and 14 repaircraft. A total of 109 Guardian of Gallantry Class Light Cruisers were built and they only occasionally landed on planetary surfaces.
