OMG, when I first looked at this wonderful photo I thought there actually was a fire! Gorgeous wispy amorphous effect, to say the least. Stands out well against the omnipresent black background. What kind of feather is that, and how come you're so fortunate to come across these feathers? They are really unusual, at least to my old eyes.
