decreasing the gamma and barely increasing the brightness can help and determine which triangle can be deleted will often clean up a flame. excellent tile and a nice flame

Well Big Sis I think this is just lovely! So very light and airy. Wonderful chosen colors too. I do not see the speckles in the image. I know that I have them and it sometimes has to do with the gamma setting. Play around with it and see what happens. It maybe something else and there are for sure more experienced Apo users than me who could help you. Wonderful job! I look forward to seeing more work from you in Apo. Your sentiments are echoed in many of us. He was a good President and man!

Beautiful and feathery feel to this. As to the speckles, go to the Transform Editor button (has triangles on it). Check each transform (triangle) on the variations tab. Check the noise variation and see if it's high. It's one of the main culprits, but not the only one. You can also increase the quality of the image when you render and that will sometimes decrease the noise, but not always. I use 1000. Others I know use 2000 (longer renders, but better quality). I'm sure others will have some suggestions too. Beautifully done. Bunny

I'm glad you asked this question as I also have trouble getting rid of the speckles, so have picked up some answers. This is a lovely delicate render with the look of wings.
