Description

No uploads from me recently - I'm sort of busy right now. But here's a Poser 7 render. First one with HDRI (made the .hdr-file myself and am really proud of it *lol*). Not moch postwork on that image, mainly adjusting a few shadows. I really like the sunlight effects on the pillars.

That's stunning. When you go to Egypt, Luxor, to the Medinet Habu and see all of the colors on the parts of the temple that remain protected from the sunlight, you realize that you are spot on with this colorful image. Those places were alive with color.

@all: thank you for your comments so far! @pixeltek: I have been to Egypt when I was a child and have seen a few sites. I guess they're sort of engraved into my memory. Some of them might have been the source for this image :-) And I do miss the sunlight, heat and sand there!

This looks so majestic in scale! The HDRI really did the trick for setting up a wonderful atmosphere! This reminds me of a Vue render! Excellent work!

Ah, see .. I could sit before this image for ages .. or, at least, until my coffee runs dry. Hey, it's a pretty big mug! This work is a portal. As a child, even later, I would hang images like this in my room. Sitting or lying down I would literally go sailing into these scenes and travel through time and space. I would have so adored this as a child. In case you can't tell .. I adore it quite a bit now! ;-) Terry
