It is a nice demo. Real rods are forged and black and pistons are tinned plated and sort of dull gray-silver. There are break- n ridges on the piston like a non spiral lathing. The piston ring grooves are much deeper. If it has four piston rings, like this one, the fourth ring groove is toward the bottom of the skirt. But that is all things you can see in a photgraph and this is a model. This is a true opinion of what sticks in the mind of the artist.
