This guy was screeching outside my window just as I was leaving for work yesterday - I figured he wanted his picture taken. :) Thanks for stopping by ... and for all your comments and help on recent uploads. I appreciate any tips and advice you have for me! Have a fantastic day! Shari

Oh my - where do you get all these beautiful birds? You must have a "All you can eat" buffet set up! Right? Though a tad out of focus - the colors of this bird are just beautiful! Bravo!

whilst i know you probably blured or "softened" it in postwork, i have to say i think it would have been much better left alone. Its a fantastic shot, but it just lacks detail. If you wanted to go for a soft look to a shot like this i would recommend finger painting it into a painting style picture so the colours and the form is there but it no longer looks completely like a photograph - which is distracting for photographer looking at it who want a well focused shot. Take a look at this photo i did for a bad example of what i mean: "painting" :)
