On this one the B/W works much better. All other things are more a matter of taste than actual improvements - just different spins on the same topic. So I probably would have focused on one of the rocks in the middle of the river - others might have taken the treeline. If you want to exercise - playing around with different settings for the focus helps! Cheers

I have nothing but positive comments to give you on this lovely image. I can almost hear the stream trickling against the rocks while looking at the picture. A great photo of this peaceful looking place in nature. -James

I like the slight slant and the heightened effect of contrast brought about by the B&W.

I am confused by this image. i presume it is a stream, but it doesnt look like one to me.. because it is taken at a slight angle, & the water does not look transparent...... so sorry i am no photographer so i feel bad moaning However i think the boulder in the foreground with the dead leaves is very interesting. there is so much detail to look at

Nice shot, i prefer the horizon of the waterfall to be level, but i know it makes it difficult to get the foreground rock in!! Also an overcast day would reduce any blown highlights in the sun spots in the river!! Hope this is helpful & Cheers from Louise
