Description
The aspect of holiday light decorating that most impresses me for sheer difficulty is the "Glowing Tree" effect. It's a beautiful effect but man, the thought of wrapping all those branches!
This house is just north of me in the ritzy suburb of Whitefish Bay. Despite the higher income levels, the houses here tend to be decorated far less than the homes in the less affluent areas and the frequency of decorated houses is equally smaller. On the other hand, I found more glowing trees here.
By the way, you can hire services to do your yard decorations for you. I suspect the glowing trees are done by such services, as they have similar appearances (no bald spots, even light distribution, etc.).

Lights like this are not easy...I just got home from interior shots of lighted trees and all are a bit underexposed. Ok to go with with adjustment. Thanks for this nice Christmas lights shot, very comfortable scene.

Dear David, Yep, there are a bunch of "professional tree wrappers" down here, too. And to get up to the branches, you almost have to have a cherry picker or something. They are realyl pretty, but a lot of work (or expense if you hire them done!!) The red one is reallu unsual and really neat! Mostly I just see the ones in white. Super photo!!!!! Love ya!! Meredith
