Hi All, I started out using Bryce, Poser, Photoshop and every other arty program I could get my hands on back in the early 90's but sort of dropped off doing much these past few years. I spend 40+ hours a week in front of a computer at work and somehow tinkering at home just lost it's appeal. But this past july, in the face of my 40th birthday, my need to "get creative again" got the better of me and I am back! I have resolved to make one publishable artwork per day. I did this because I know from experience that without some sort of deadline I tend to overwork pieces to the point where I won't publish them because they irritate me (and they never will be "perfect"). I don't expect that I get a masterpiece every day but I feel pretty good about what I have done these past few months. Occasionally I go back and rework an older image so I always welcome feedback, especially any suggestions for improvement.

Thanks Kierab, it is truly beautiful.

I like posting things I like even if they aren't "perfect." This is cool because the reflection seems to have better focus then the real image. Very nice.
kierab
Thanks MrsLubner - it was the reflection that made me take a half a dozen shots of this in the hopes that in one of them I was still enough. I think I drive poor hubby to distraction on our trips. He's gotten pretty philosophical about it...

cool refelection, the hand held version makes it magical!

Even perfect is never perfect and less can be even more - I should have been a poet, LOL! You captured the haze of the moment with all the energy and lights very well. I love the reflection.

Even though its not in focus - its an excellent capture with reflection and the evening lights!! 8;o)

You did an excellent job with the handheld camera, still plenty of detail and the reflections are superb. well done!

If I hand held this I would not want to see it. Nice steadiness. Glad you kept the full reflection in.

Love all the wonderful colors, what an incredible reflection I can only imagine how difficult is was to take! [=

Sure that there is a bit of grain (I think that you did that at the maximum ISO rating for your cam, 1600 or 3200), but no matter, it gives an interesting texture. That is really beautiful Kiea! Thanks for your excellent hand!
goodoleboy
Virtually a dreamlike capture, with vivid colors and reflections! Entirely cool!
