Description

This photo is a "hand held" night shot and I have done no manipulations on it so it undoubtedly looks best if you do NOT zoom in! But I like it - wish I would have had my tripod, but it's too geekly for a trip to Disneyland, even for me. *grin* It was taken from outside the entrance of Disneyland Paris last Christmas Eve. I dedicate it to Bill_Wa who was severely disappointed when I accidentally posted it and replaced it with one of my Tunisia images before he got to see it full sized. This is for your Bill, so you don't think I'm a horrible tease (even if I am, LOL). :-) - Here are some of my other recent works (I sometimes post at odd hours, so you may have missed them the first time around): thumb_1353845.jpg thumb_1353745.jpg thumb_1352690.jpg thumb_1352173.jpg thumb_1351717.jpg thumb_1351322.jpg

I like posting things I like even if they aren't "perfect." This is cool because the reflection seems to have better focus then the real image. Very nice.

Thanks MrsLubner - it was the reflection that made me take a half a dozen shots of this in the hopes that in one of them I was still enough. I think I drive poor hubby to distraction on our trips. He's gotten pretty philosophical about it...

Even perfect is never perfect and less can be even more - I should have been a poet, LOL! You captured the haze of the moment with all the energy and lights very well. I love the reflection.

it is hard to hand held a camera for a night shot. I look for something to brace on

Beautiful picture, I think the blur adds to it and draws attention to the perfect reflection.

If I hand held this I would not want to see it. Nice steadiness. Glad you kept the full reflection in.

Sure that there is a bit of grain (I think that you did that at the maximum ISO rating for your cam, 1600 or 3200), but no matter, it gives an interesting texture. That is really beautiful Kiea! Thanks for your excellent hand!
