I wait.. Battered and bruised, Discarded and used, Alone,.. In the darkness, I wait... Rain falls, snow flies Seasons change, a dream dies, Yet Alone,.. In the darkness, I wait.. Alone,... In the darkness, I wait For the ray of sunshine, That is your smile. The warmth, That is your touch. I wait.. Alone,.. In the darkness, For those little things That mean so much. Call my name,.. In which I wait copyright Amy Galloway Dec. 2006 Generally I dont post much of my written stuff simply because most times it is just me getting things out.. off my mind and soul.. but on occassion I write something that seems more then the mere ramblings of my mind and I wanted to share:)

Beautiful words.... Sometimes writing can free the "waiting" within Hugs to you It seems as though, as women, we are most times always waiting on one thing or another May your wait not be a long one !!

If it is possibe your poetry is more beautiful pictures. Very Very nice. It makes me want to call your name so you can come out of the darkness but I know it is not my name you are waiting to hear. Randy
