Description

hi... . sharing a portrait, but this time, its a parrot, a macaw. ive always liked the beautiful colors that they have on them. ive sketched quite a few before, though this is the first one ive painted in artrage, using tablet, all from scratch. pls view it from some distance, as its spontaneously done with visible, loose brushstorkes. squinting would be good...:). here is the link for the tutorial (steps), for those who are interested: http://67.15.36.49/team/Tutorials/macaw/macaw_01.asp enjoy. good day...:).

I found the tutorial very interesting and would like to know what size of image you work on? Do you start off with a canvas of abour 2000 pixels wide or much less? What kind of virtual brush are you using? Your result is very impressive.

What a beautiful shade of red you used. Your impressionist abstract is well worth a tutuorial, which will be very helpful to me. Thank you Waheed!

oscilis, nicolaperniskii, joeblowe, suzanne and scorpilus...thank u so very much for admiring this painting and the tutorial...:). oscilis...yes, somewhere close to 2000 pxls wide, i use simple, default, normal brush, thats just like a real one. no fancy brushes, just varying size of what i use...:). it has more to do with the flow and pressure. suzanne, u are most welcome...:). sure scorpilus...:). best wishes.
