Fabulous capture of the lock, and the way of life for some folk. I wish it was a little bigger, 500 pixels doesn't seem to do it justice. Nice work here!!

Tried to convince a workmate to rent a narrow boat while in England.He advised me that winters aren't usually spent in them as they have no insulation and that most English ladies don't charge the boat to get a sunbathing spot as there are few days of genuine weather to do so. Nutz.......... :( Still love these boats! A great capture! Happy New Year! :B eaver !
