Description

This is made with a random-fractal texture that came with Bryce 1 for the Macintosh only. The white-lighter areas are actually raised, but the lighting makes the blue areas look like they are raised, creating an "incised" effect. This is a very powerful random "fractal" bump map that I believe has never been included in any of the Windows Bryce versions that started with version 2. the texture was in the "Bryce Island" scene file that came with Bryce Version 1.

I Am using version 5.5, but have kept this fractal bump map by importing it into the newer versions. I still have version 1 and could use it, but the newer versions have better rendering options, so I use the newer versions.
