Description
hi guys, this was one of many shots i took on christmas day. we decided to spend the day on the coast taking picys, so went to a famous spot called "Durdle Door" in Dorset, S England. it turned out to be a nice day even though there was a bit of fog further out on the horizon. the way the arch has formed and the redness in the sand/shingle made it feel NOT OF THIS WORLD. I enjoyed our outing....hope you enjoy too, im sure i can post a couple more later on also.
thanks to all who commented on my last image and those that chose it as their favourite...

What a classic motive this is. I must have seen it in numerous photomagazines and i never grow tired of it. Beautiful capture! Hope you had a great NYE and that you get to have an amazing year ahead of you. #:o)

A close friend I went to high school with back in pioneer days (LOL) went to Durdle Door recently and took a stack of photos. I thought she had done a great job but next to this, those were more along the lines of crayon drawings. This is beautiful. The color contrasts are rich and warm.
