Description

Canon 17-85 IS USM. Post in photoshop. Happy new year everyone! Hope you are all in good shape after last night's festivities, i can tell you that hogmanay was cancelled - and this shot incidentally, shows exactly where the street party would have taken place! So i hired a helicopter for the day to take aerial shots of Edinburgh... nah - just pulling your leg: i went up the Scott Monument at 9am (opening time in the morning) to catch the sunrise (just) and this is one of the shots from that little trip. 287 steps or something to the top, and it gets a little cramped.
