Anybody who has read the books of Patrick OBrian or C.S.Forester will be fascinated by the ships of this period. Few of these wooden vessels have survived the centuries. Computers and 3D design programs are new tools in the hand of artists to manage the challenge of realistic seascapes. My website is dedicated to show an attempt at creating classic seascapes with new instruments.BIOCheck out my website www.age-of-sail.com

Excellent and a great attempt at a stormy sea, the vessel loks very realistic with about the right amount of canvas. What I would suggest and it is just a suggestion is not to make the wave too uniform. Waves are like ridges but not uniform they are more like a line of hills with peaks and troughs along the ridge if you understand what I mean. Lighting is prefect, well done.

Looks great! She's under minimum storm canvas, just enough for steerageway, but not enough to "tear the sticks outta her..." One small crit, more an observation really: seems like you forgot to close the gunports. A ship's ports would normally be closed at sea, only opened for battle. Opened inport for ventilation. In preparation for an oncoming storm every port and hatch would be battened down. But everything else looks great!!!!
