Description
In 2005, I was fortunate to be commissioned by 2 sponsors to photograph the Grand Prix of Denver. Shooting track side was a blast! In 2006, I created an art trilogy based on several my photos. This seems to be the favorite, so I thought I'd race right into the new year :) Unlike most of my Photoshop transformations, this is based on a single photo that is duplicated in many layers to perform the various paint and zoom effects.

Thanks Piet! I was trying to display the excitement and motion. And because these were designed to be printed on Canvas, I decided to use mush softer effects. Cheers!

Nice work for the speed effect. I know how you feel doing this. I got to shoot CART 4 years in a row at Vancouver and Portland..Seeing them come at you top speed in a viewfinder is an experience I will never forget, not to mention all the in pit and tent activities. Be nice to see this on canvas.
