Splendid close up eye detail. I spotted the series to have an uplifting effect with the liberal use of yellow and white - great colours for the human psyche.

Wow -interesting pattern on those eyes!!! I think that this is some sort of fly. The bees that I have seen have bulgy legs and none that I have seen have this pattern on the eyes. Interesting DOF and POV! Nice capture!

I dont BEElieve it is a bee,:) but I think it is a fly. When I look close, I think I can se that tiny suck "foot" that a fly use to suck up flowing food with. It is just not turned down for sucking. I love those macro shots. Very beautiful work.

Well, I can't beegrudge you for making this the last in the series, Este. Especially, opening yourself up to all those "bee" pun comments you get. Oh well, you had your fun with this series. This macro blurred out once it got past the insects head in this capture. And, the flower's pistil resembles carpeting.
