Description

Hi all, So yesterday I was sitting here behind the computer when I noticed a magical light outside... Grabbed the camera ran outside into the padock and found a rainbow hiding out in the open world... I'm pleased I can teach all of you someting fairly special from that very short shoot. DONT USE A POLARIZING FILTER TO ENHANCE THE COLOR OF A RAINBOW *SIGH* Yeah they kinda disappear if you do so. ;) So I had the polarizing filter on but didn't put it to use cause then you wouldn't have been able to see that rainbow so it then acted as a ND 2 filter and thus reduced the light levels even more bla bla bla... In other words I'm happy with how this one turned out considering the multiple mistakes I had made in that short time LOL
Thanks for all the very kind words on my previous pic: My previous picture</div></body></html>

Stunning even with the filter on!! Hehe. I too forget to remove the filters sometimes, only to be disappointed when viewing the images on the computer. The glow in the sky is just awesome!

Wow what a super rainbow!! Yep polarisers do that!! Theyre good for studio object shots and some waterfall shots to reduce sun glare and light spots on things!! trial and error is how we all learn!! Very nice shot indeed!!

Lovely scape, but to me the pink colour looks unreal, just my honest opinion. I have also my doubts about the tree, did you post work it in? It does not mean that I don't like this image, I am just wondering about the colours and the tree......well done
