Description

Tardis "Opps" "Opps," said the little green alien, "I do not think the Tardis should be in here! I must have bumped the Orthamirroric Parallel Project System knob. That light should be either off or blue, right K9?" K9 crisply intoned: "Afirmative Master, the Tardis is indicating a 'RED' or 'Recursive Event Dynamics' alert. The Doctor will not be pleased you attempted to use the Tardis viewing circuit on his companion's bedroom. Danger Master! Tardis apparent size reduction indicates extreme danger!" - - - - - - - - - My 1st Dr. Who effort, inspired by Star4Mation with lighting inspired by Shanpoo. (Alais not a full subsitute for Shannon's skills at both rendering and post work!) Daz Studio "double render" with 5 lights and no post work. I would have added 6th light to illuminate area around top Tardis lamp, but render times were already getting pretty bad! Credits (Fixed, Thanks Bill Redfern!): Tardis Police Box by Mick Imrie with Bill Redfern updates Tardis console by Bill Redfern Tardis interior (console room) by CastIronFlamingo Toon Alien by 3D Universe K9 & Dr. Who scarf by Gerald Day Coat hanger by Zippo Daz3D Adventurer's Hat Tiling Floot by Xena Tradis Viewer image is self made DS primative cube with earlier version of this render as a texture and ambient map. Use as ambient map gives a bright clear image, rather than just use of high ambient setting without an image, which would "wash out" the texture mapped to the normal texture channel. No Doctors, companions, nor Tardis were harmed during the creation of this artwork. All comments welcome, mcv

Oops alright!!! Now you've blown it!! The space, time continuum has a large rip in it due to two TARDIS's occupying the same dimensional coordinates!! The Doctor will be livid!!! Awesomly funny render Mike :)

Thanks for the credit, MCV, but let's give it to the deserving people. While I did model the console, it was CastIronFlamingo who modeled the console room. The TARDIS itself was originally modeled and textured by Mick Imrie. However, he did allow me to "optimize" the mesh for Poser and distribute it. If this version has the door that opens, then additional credit should go to Little_Dragon who converted the static prop (.PP2) into a posable "character" file (.CR2). Anyway, you obviously know your DW "lore" as you combined two plot elements from "Logopolis", Tom Baker's "swangsong" serial, to create this zany situation. I especially like the way you stood the toon alien upon the console, shamefully scratching his head. K-9's dialogue is right on the money as well! Sincerely, Bill

Dear Mike, I can appreciate the humor of the situation even without being a Dr. Who follower!! (I'm not much of a TV watcher - too darn many things to do!!!) I really like the cute little guy!! I hope he doesn't get into much trouble!! Reminds me of Mickey in the Sorcerer's Apprentice!! Love the litle robot dog!!! More cute stuff!!! Super fun picture!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
