A wonderful image, your skills as an artist increase daily. I appreciate her sadness. I do question your interpretation of religious icons, risky ground you tred. I like to think that the artists are are an open minded lot, but we will see.

I am a Christian person and i don't find this image offenive in any way...In fact as long as no ridiculization or mocking visualization of reference is used i even encourage those interpretations...Even religion needs some modernisation sometimes...I find this a very decent and gorgeous looking Mary...I esily can imagine myself her looking exactly like that once... A stunning beauty with a lot of emotion in her eyes !!! Superb job !!! I love it !!!
