Boy it has been a while since ive uploaded here. Ive been working on thick snow like this in tg2(exciting isnt it?) for a while and i finaly got something i liked. Thanks rikabi for rendering it in a higher resolution for me (my computers are to crap and just crash all the time). Postwork in CS2, thanks for viewing and comments welcome.

does look more like ice -- but still looks awesome -- without the dark surfaces and a few displacements youcould create an Antarctic cathedral landscape!!!

This is a very cool effect. However I think it could be better with some more variation so that it wasn't distributed the same all over the terrain.

@efflux: i agree, i should have given the snow on the background hills more coverage, it looks a little unreal. Also i should have lightened the color of the rock
