Description

Ahhhh finally I've figured out how to create a 2nd piece in the frame! :D!!!!!! Oh yes and the shot. Well for those who saw yesterdays post, I apologize because this is not so different, just a few hundred yards downstream I came across this beautiful waterfall ( I wasn't able to get to the spot I wanted to photograph it from :( ) Nonetheless it turned out all-right. Needless to say I am excited about my new Neutral Density filter and will be playing with it a lot (and buying some more filters as well, any recommendations? My ND is the only one I've got so far. ) As always feedback is always appreciated and thanks to everyone who commented on yesterdays upload ( I don't know how to show a thumbnail maybe someone could tell me how to do that too?) Thanks for looking you wonderful artists! :) -jm

What a difference a few hundred yards can make in mother nature... Awesome shot this is buddy! Love your pov in this and you did a perfect job with the exposure... Hmmm filters to get? I'd highly recommend a circular polarizing filter cause not only does it help with reflections and adds that contrast but can be used as an nd 2 like filter ;) Anyway once again this is fantastic work and something you really should be proud of! Thanks for sharing.

Bravo - I go with short_ribs on the photo and the filter recommendation. Just stay clear form FX filters - the things you can do with those you can do better in post - and much more measured... Great image!

This is a nice shot!! I use filters maiunly on sunny days to reduce light/improve colour. Generally i use no filters in the forest and i prefer to go out on overcast/heavy cloud days for forests and waterfall shots (minimals shadows then) and i use a fairly high f.stop say f10 to f22+ to reduce light for longer waterfall milky effects!! If you place two polarisers on top of each other you can get interesting rainbow patterns on many glass/plastic objects. Cheers form louise

Hey buddy. I wish you would make that picture into a poster at London Drugs or Black and Lees, cause I'd buy it in a heart beat. I have some canon lenses for my old SLR you can try, as well as some colour filters that should work. PS, how do I upload my pictures? Do I need to pay?

Nice mood. The water looks like silk and makes the picture almost tactile.
