Description

hi guys, thankyou for you comments on last upload, you are most kind...now for something completely different (as MP would say), this image i took last summer, i went to a charity ferrari day which had a small air display at the end of the day. This plane was bought by the owner as a Spitfire, whilst showing photos of it to someone while restoring it he was told "thats not a Spitfire mate, you have yourself a Hurricane"... These are very rare and this one is apparently one of only 4 that are still flying in the world...... I had great difficulty in tracking hand held and getting a shot that was'nt too blurred. Anyway just thought i would share a rare moment with you all...eventhough its not a great shot... cheers....

Thank you for the photo! A B/w or sepia version would also be cool. I love that story, and though I love Spitfires, he was extremely fortunate.

A classic view of a classic fighter. The blur isn't s problem - it accentuates the feeling of motion. Great capture!
