Description

The reason I titled this image "Worth Stopping For" is because I was driving to work along the Gorge Waterway when I saw the morning fog dancing in the golden morning sunlight - I just had to stop! I pulled over, jumped out of the car, grabbed my tripod and ran for the shore. I ended up snapping about 50 shots and was only *slightly* late for work. Definitely worth it. (Fortunately, my boss is into photography as well :D )

Definitely worth it to stay there ALL day, LOL! Fantastic mood and rich golden colours, also making a super reflection. Very appealing.

That's beautiful brant, whereabouts along the gorge did you stop? I don't recognize this spot. Good job on concealing the road and all the houses that are typically visible

Thanks so much for all the positive feedback everyone :) To "Perspective": If you drive along gorge rd. (not the craigflower side) this spot is right where there is a sharp curve in the road and a tiny parkling lot in front of some trees. Its right where the water starts to open up into the wider area between the two parks on each side. There is a little picknick table directly behind where i took this shot from :)
