Ford GT40 MkIII by TROC
Open full image in new tabDescription
The MkIII was the road version of the MkI that was produced in 1966 to homologate the GT40 for the GT class at Le Mans. The MkIII had round headlights instead of the oblong headlights on the Mk1, and the rear of the car was extended to accomodate space for luggage. The engine used was a 289 cubic inch V8 that produced 306 BHP at 6000 rpm. This gave the MkIII the capability to hit 60mph in 5.3 seconds and hit a top speed of around 165 mph.
The mesh was made by Alain Bouchet.

Very nice car and texture but it looks like the regular race car to me . . .

Awesome texture and lighting, the shaders are very good as well. A cool looking motor.

Very realistic indeed. But 165 mph only? I fear with that on German motorways the owner can't win a flower pot these days! Should be a little more - Zack!
