Description

Image from my web site www.StarfighterCommand.com This was one of my first images with a 3D program of any kind. Heavy use of Photoshop here. I am now revisiting a lot of those early images (like this one) used on my web sites now I can actually build everything to scale in Bryce and have a better grap of the programs I'm using.

Pretty good start I like the ships, my thoughts / constructive crits a) add more colours to the starfield, the black and white looks a little bland - other colours would give the image more depth. b)The scale of the fighters (smaller ships) doesn't look quite right compared to the larger ships (or at least to me) I'd make the fighters smaller to give the biggies a larger sense of scale. I'd love to see this evolve a little further!

Nice concept. If you want to achieve a better effect; start playing with 'depth of field' options in the camera paremeters. Distant things like the Moon, Earth and stars will be out of focus while your ships will be in perfect to less than perfect focus. This gives you a subtle depth to your images. ;)
