Description
This image has a very long story - a neverending as I thought...
First time I tried to make a Doro-version of this image was with Vue4 esprit. The alpha planes I used for the foreground field didnt look very good. I made a new effort when Vue 5 Infinite came out. The gras plants I used did look rather pretty but Vue crashed when I imported more than two Posercharacters.
Well, now I finished it finally with Infinite 6 - only three crashes included!
I rendered this image with global radiosity and using the anti-aliasing option soft.
I think, the mood of the original image comes rather good and I hope you like it.
Beautiful weekend to all!

LOL It seems, nobody outside Europe knows Spitzweg. Well, he was a painter of the romantic era. The time when he lived is called in the German speaking countries:"Biedermeier" In this time it was necessary to have a milk white skin to be a lady. The woman and even the little girls wear huge bonnets and the umbrella was made with a special mechanism to avoid that even the last rays of sun could reach the faces of the ladies. The umbrellas I used in this image are especially made for this image from Helmut. Btw: The most famous painting of Spitzweg is the "Poor Poet". Thanks a lot for your comments and ratings Doro
