Description

Hi all, An update to the models I am making at the moment. This is a skin test. Still a loooong way to go. I thought I would put it here for posterity. All modeled by me in Cinema4D with some zbrushing for details. The neck piece is untextured and a rough base for a new piece of armour. Thanks for looking and happy 2007!

Looks awesome!!! I think i would prefer a more "matte" look - less glossy that is... What do you think? Just an idea!! I think it would make him look more dangerous and less like a pro model... :D Keep up the great work buddy!

Great modelling. His skin looks likes shiny leather. Very scary dude.

Brilliant work, mate! I just started using C4D for my Poser rendering, lighting and texturing etc. I only hope I can come up to your level some day;-)

A mean looking geezer you are making there! Coming along nice. It's an in progress work but I also like the camera angle you have used here. If this sort of shot will be one of your final renders then you may wish to consider introducing a very small amount of depth of field - the eyes sharp and the eyes (or around that area) slightly out of focus - adds to the realism I believe.

Cheers guys. DOF is something I am going to play with in the final render. I'm also going to play about with the lighting a bit more and perhaps add a bit of detail to the background.

Thank you for the comments everyone, they are always appreciated. Not sure about rigging him as there's nothing really to rig (a head and some armour that's about it). I'm going to move onto a full figure after this little project, so rigging will be involved in that.
