Another shot from the top of the Scott Monument in Edinburgh. This one is probably the best of the sunrise ones i could get, if the damned thing opened maybe 1 hour earliericould have got some really nice shots but no- 9 oclock it is.. and sunset is out of the question coz it closes at 3 as far as i know. So this is looking out over Waverley Train Station in the hear of the city out towards old town, you can see various prominent buildings silhoutted - but i really dont know what they are to be honest ;)
Ok so i spelt Waverley wrong on the pic - i couldnt be bothered to go back and change it before i posted it - but if i hadnt have said that i bet no-one here (minus maybe aangus) would have known otherwise.
Anyway - thanks for stopping by to take a look. Hope the new year is treating everyone well.

It's a hoot - love the sparse light that just brings some dimension to details over the city. Would have loved to see a closeup of that lit city all by itself - maybe you got a shot of that... Bravo anyway!
