Description

I took this shot yesterday in the late evening sun. The sidewalk in the front is in my back yard. The gate and yard beyond are my front yard. I just combined the two pictures into one. You can kinda see the birdbath where the cardinal was. This is where most of my recent shots have been taken. Gee, it looks like my grass needs mowing, ...in January! Thanks for looking and thanks very kindly for your ever so generous comments on my recent shots! ...Maria

Just one question Maria. How did you get the shadow of the gate onto the grass in the forground of the piccy? If i understood your description correctly......... the join between the 2 pics is the fence line. Well however you did it hun its clever!!

Bravo! Beautiful! I have problems understanding the description as well - usually front and backyard don't meet, do they?

You have created an idylic scenery, the long grass adds to the romantic effect. I wish I could be there.

Nice bit of photo combination, Tex! Yup - I need to mow my yard yet again after only a week and a half. Usually I get by for almost a month in winter here so I "feel your pain" - lol
